On 30 September 2011, Stephan Sina, Senior Fellow at Ecologic Institute, held a statement at an expert meeting on possible subject matters of a climate change act for Baden-Württemberg. The event was organized by the Ministry for Environment, Climate and Energy Baden-Württemberg in Stuttgart.

Stephan Sina was invited to this workshop following his reports on a federal climate change act on behalf of WWF Germany as well as for the study "Ein Klimaschutzgesetz des Bundes – Analyse und Vorschläge zu seiner Fortentwicklung" on behalf of the Federal Environment Agency.  The workshop aimed at discussing possible subject matters of and concepts for a climate change act for Baden-Württemberg. Such an act is provided for in the Coalition Agreement of the current Government of Baden-Württemberg.

The Ministry is considering to publish the speeches and statements in an anthology of the workshop.
