Sandra Cavalieri, Fellow and Arctic Programme Coordinator at Ecologic Institute, presented the results of the EU Arctic Footprint and Policy Assessment project at a conference hosted by the European Space Agency (ESA) on 8 December 2010 in Paris, France. The results show Europe’s Arctic environmental footprint from a broad range of sources, and added to the discussion on how ESA can improve its satellites and remote sensing data to contribute to the EU’s Arctic policy development. Transatlantic Media Dialogue: Economic Transformation in Aging Industrial Regions

As part of the Transatlantic Climate Bridge, the Ecologic Institute organised a Transatlantic Media Dialogue to discuss structural change and economic transformation in Germany and the U.S.A. Funding energy efficiency measures and R&D in emerging economies

The Urban Institute Ireland of the University College of Dublin (UCD) is conducting a project for the European Commission entitled “Transatlantic Opportunities for Meeting Global Challenges in Energy Efficiency and Low Carbon Technology”. The project involves, inter alia, the writing of seven research papers that look at different aspects of energy efficiency in the EU and the US.
