Jessica Benten has been working as an Intern for Ecologic Institute from March until July 2016 on topics related to governance. She was interested in renewable energies, sustainability and gender equality. Jessica Benten works in German and English and possesses a good knowledge of French.
At Ecologic Institute, Jessica Benten supported the research project, Reducing Nutrient Loadings from Agricultural Soils to the Baltic Sea via Groundwater and Streams (Soils2Sea), which is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the Baltic Organisations' Network for Funding Science EEIG (BONUS EEIG).
Jessica Benten studies in the Policy Management Bachelor's program at the University of Applied Sciences in Bremen (Germany) with a focus on gender equality and development cooperation.
