Anna Wiggeringloh spent part of her legal traineeship at Ecologic Institute working with the Ecologic Legal team. Her main professional interests are Environmental Law and Policy, Energy Law and German Public Law. She works in German and English and has basic knowledge of French and Italian.
At Ecologic Institute she was involved in several research projects, including the interdisciplinary research project European Union Action to Fight Environmental Crime (EFFACE), which assesses the impacts of environmental crime as well as effective and feasible policy options for combating it. This project is funded under the 7th Framework Programme (FP7) of the European Union (EU). In addition, she works on internal legal issues.
During her legal training at the Higher Regional Court in Düsseldorf she worked for the Western German Broadcasting and Clifford Chance LLP. During her studies she also worked as a freelance journalist for several media outlets.
Anna Wiggeringloh studied law in Münster and Padova (Italy).
