Amely Gundlach works as Researcher at Ecologic Institute. Her research focuses on energy efficient buildings, climate resilient cities, participatory planning and co-operatives. She is a native speaker of German and fluently speaks French and English.
Amely Gundlach supports the work of Dr. Hans-Joachim Ziesing for the German energy transition expert commission analyzing the progress of the energy transition in the building sector. Moreover, she helps with the organization of Energy Future Exchange, a two-year program aiming to foster the transatlantic civil society dialogue on energy in the context of climate change.
Before joining Ecologic Institute, Amely Gundlach worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Energy Efficient Buildings and Indoor Climate at RWTH Aachen University. Her work included research and advisory services on user participation, the acceptance of technology, and social innovation.
Amely Gundlach completed a Master's program in Integrated Natural Resource Management and has a Bachelor's degree in International Relations. She studied at Humboldt University Berlin, Technische Universität Dresden, Université Paris Nanterre and the University of Western Australia.
