Elisa Bergemann trains as a media designer at Ecologic Institute from January 2020 to September 2020. She supports the Visual Designers with the creative visualisation and design of the Institute’s environmental scientific and policy advisory work, for example: Infographics, illustrations, diagrams and layouts. Elisa works in German and English.
At Ecologic Institute, Elisa Bergemann supports the target-grouporiented communication of information by means of infographics, e.g. within the context of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU)'s dialogue forum 'Business Mitigates Climate Change' and the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF)'s project 'Scientific Coordination of Research Projects on Sustainable Economy' (NaWiKo).
Before joining Ecologic Institute, Elisa worked for the trend label Farbgewitter, the textile printing company Deko Graphics and Camel active, among others. On a voluntary basis, she taught creative needlework courses for children.
In 2018, Elisa began her further education and training as a media designer for digital and print at the Gesellschaft für Personalentwicklung und Bildung Berlin. She previously qualified as a fashion designer and tailor (women) at the Akademie für Kommunikation Heilbronn (Germany) and the Kerschensteinerschule Stuttgart (Germany).
As Elli Swonken, Elisa gives free rein to her creativity even outside of her professional commitments. She illustrates, works sculpturally, writes poetry, prose and specialist articles and is involved in an art association. As a prospective sailor she is also often deployed on the family ship.
