Susanne Müller has been part of the Events Team at Ecologic Institute since 2009. She is responsible for the acquisition, development, and execution of national and international events and projects on issues of environmental interest. She has extensive knowledge of sustainable event management and is coordinating the "Green Events" initiatives within the Events Team. Susanne Müller speaks German, English, and Spanish, and has basic knowledge of Russian.
In addition to the organisation of conferences and workshops she is planning and implementing visitor and delegation programs, this activities include bringing together international experts and stakeholders to engage in a dialogue and exchange of best practices in the environmental field. In close cooperation with various sponsors, Susanne Müller has developed many sustainable, target group-oriented concepts, and planned and organized workshops, conferences, visitor programs, and summer schools as well as the 20th anniversary celebration of the Ecologic Institute in October 2015.
Before joining Ecologic Institute, Susanne Müller worked for two years in the International Department of the Frankfurt Book Fair. Her responsibilities included project management as well as the organization of international events, such as conferences, workshops, readings, and exhibitions. Here, she was also in charge of editorial tasks, press work, and the preparation of publications. Additionally, she was responsible for the development, organization, and execution of a study tour for journalists and publishers that took place in China.
Susanne Müller studied German language and literature, drama, and communication science at the University of Leipzig (Germany) and the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (Barcelona, Spain).
