Anett Jacob works as a legal trainee at Ecologic Institute in Berlin. Her primary research interests include climate protection and energy law. A native speaker of German, she also works in English and has excellent language skills in French.
Anett Jacob is undertaking her post-graduate legal training in Berlin (Germany). As part of her training she has been working for the Senate Department for Health, Environment and Consumer Protection in the Division for Environmental Policy (Soil Conservation and Remediation of Contaminated Sites). There she composed a manual for the application of the Environmental Damages Act and dealt mainly with issues concerning universal succession under the Federal Soil Protection Act.
She gained practical experience through her work for the German law firm FPS. There she focused on public procurement law and environmental law, in particular the regulatory framework for offshore wind parks.
Anett Jacob studied law at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, specialising in Environmental Law. In addition to this, she completed a two year study in French law.
Anett Jacob attended a high school in France as an exchange student for one year.
