Sabrina Schärf was employed at Ecologic Institute as a Research Assistant from August 2011 to August 2012. Her work focused on the politics of climate change and energy. She had a particular interest in European and German climate and energy policies and in local mitigation and adaptation strategies for climatic change. Sabrina Schärf works in German and English but is also fluent in Spanish and Catalan and has a basic knowledge of French and Russian.
During her undergraduate studies, Sabrina Schärf gained experience as an intern at the German Federal Ministry of the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) and as a research assistant at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK).
Sabrina Schärf is pursuing a master’s degree in political science at the University of Potsdam (Germany). Prior to this, she studied politics and public administration as well as public law and translation at the University of Potsdam and Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona, Spain). Sabrina Schärf holds a grant from the Friedrich Ebert Foundation (FES).
