Gordon Bradshaw was an Intern at Ecologic Institute's office in Washington DC. He is interested in a broad range of topics related to sustainable development, including international politics, urban sustainability, and issues of social justice. His working language is English.
At Ecologic Institute, Gordon assisted the research team with its work on renewable energy legislation, climate policy, and transportation. He performed editorial work, researched extensively, and helped to plan study tours for the Emerging Leaders in Environmental and Energy Policy (ELEEP) network. Gordon also wrote an article exploring issues of urban green space and sustainability.
Gordon previously spent time working in Nicaragua with Granada Educational Centers, an NGO that constructs and runs schools in disadvantaged areas. His work for the organization focused on making the school buildings and compounds ecologically responsible and economically viable.
Gordon is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in sustainable development at the University of St Andrews, Scotland (United Kingdom). He is an active member of the Transition St Andrews steering group, a government-funded initiative that unites the university with local communities in an effort to reduce the area's carbon footprint and make it more self-sufficient.
