Carolin Wolf led the Organization Team at Ecologic Institute from 2008 until 2014 and was responsible for the overall optimization of internal workflow. She also coordinated the Institute's fundraising and project acquisition activities. Accordingly, she monitored public calls for proposals and supported the development of the Institute's research program. Her working languages include German, English, and French.
From May 2002 to December 2007, she worked as Conference Manager with the Ecologic Events Team and from August 2006 on as the team leader. Her work focused on the preparation and organization of international environmental events.
Carolin Wolf started her career in the conference department of the F.A.Z. (Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung) Institute for Management, Market and Media Information in Frankfurt/Main. Her responsibilities included the conceptualization, preparation, and execution of events covering mainly legal themes for executives and managers. She also gained professional experience as Events Coordinator at the Berlin Social Science Center (WZB).
From October 2010 until November 2012, Carolin Wolf participated in the part-time Master Study Programme Sustainability and Quality Management at the Berlin School of Economics and Law. Her master's thesis analyzed the sustainability strategies of the German Federal Government and the German Federal States with a focus on whether the success of their implementation is measured on a regular basis and, if so, if and how these measurements form a basis for the political decision process.
Carolin Wolf studied law at the universities of Strasbourg (France) and Freiburg (Germany) with a focus on environmental law.
