Philip Luthardt joined Ecologic Institute in Berlin as an Intern from July to September 2012. He worked on the RADOST project with a particular focus on the organization of the RADOST Tour 2012. He is also interested in the role of NGOs in international sustainability politics and the impact of climate change on human behavior. Philip Luthardt works in German and English and has basic knowledge of French, Spanish, and Dutch.
Before joining Ecologic Institute, Philip Luthardt was responsible for Key Accounts and Public Relations at the climate protection agency atmosfair in the field of climate and travel. While studying for his BA, he gained some experience in the field of social research at the Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin (WZB), where he worked on a project about social engagement in Germany in 2008. In 2007 he worked in Mexico for the Human Rights Center Fray Bartolomé de Las Casas, A.C. (FRAYBA). He gained experience in environmental education on the biodynamic farm Bauckhof (2009) and worked in 2010 for agricultura, a public relations agency for organic farms.
Besides his work for Ecologic Institute, Philip Luthardt is studying for the Master in Sustainability Science at the Leuphana Universität Lüneburg (Germany). As a Research Assistant with the KLIMZUG-Nord project, he concentrates on the environmental impact of climate adaptation measures in the metropolitan region of Hamburg (Germany). He holds a bachelor's degree in international development from the University of Vienna (Austria).
