Events

Environmental, scientific, and political events are unique opportunities to develop solutions and outcomes which lead to a more sustainable world.

Ecologic Institute uses both its research competencies and its event management capabilities to design and implement events. While the Institute's scientific experts investigate and discuss environmental topics in the current political and scientific context, a team of event managers works closely with researchers, sponsors, and partners to co-design and organize events targeting specific audiences and objectives. Interactivity, participation, innovation, and sustainability are at the core of the Institute's events.

We choose formats that foster participants' engagement and ensure a goal-oriented process. They include large-scale conferences, smaller workshops, visitor programs and study tours, summer schools, roundtables, interviews, networking and social programs, as well as themed event series at national and international level. The team’s toolbox comprises a number of methods, such as World Cafés, Fishbowl conversations, PechaKucha presentations, and more.

We continuously explore different platforms and interactive tools to organize virtual events that connect, inspire, and engage our international audience.

As Ecologic Institute stands for environmental protection and sustainability, our events are as environmentally friendly as possible. We carefully consider the impact of the venues we choose, the materials we use, the food we serve, and the travel we organize.
