Helen Lückge is working for Ecologic Institute as a Senior Associate. She founded Climonomics and was a freelance consultant in the fields of climate, energy and transport policy. The focus of her work are economic assessments and strategy developments in the fields of climate change, adaptation to climate change and sustainable mobility. She works in German, English and French.

From 2005 to 2007, Helen Lückge worked as a Fellow at Ecologic Institute, where she was involved in the further development of the EU emissions trading system (ETS) as an external expert at the German Federal Ministry for Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU).

From 2007 to 2010, Helen Lückge worked for the think tank INFRAS in Zurich (Switzerland) in the field of transport, climate and energy. In 2009, she was awarded a McCloy Fellowship in Environmental Affairs from the American Council on Germany. Since the spring of 2010, she has been a member of the board of Green Budget Germany.

Helen Lückge studied international economics at Tübingen University (Germany).
