Anneke Klasing (formerly von Raggamby) has been working for Ecologic Institute Berlin since 1998. She heads the Human Resources team and is responsible for team management, personnel recruitment and development as well as strategic personnel work. She is also a member of the Steering Group, the governing body of Ecologic Institute. Anneke Klasing works in German and English.

In 2012 Anneke Klasing took over the management of the Human Resources Team. Within the scope of personnel development, she has since then been responsible for the survey and analysis of personnel development requirements, the conception of personnel development measures as well as their planning and implementation. Within the area of personnel recruitment, she determines the personnel requirements in line with the areas concerned, defines the profiles of the positions to be filled and controls the application procedure through to hiring. As part of her strategic human resources work, she works closely with the Institute's management to develop interdisciplinary projects, implement them and support organisational development. Team development includes the further development and professionalisation of the HR work of Ecologic Institute. In addition, she is the contact person for all large and small questions regarding the Institute's staff.

In addition to her work at Ecologic Institute, she holds a teaching position at the School of Sustainable Development in the programme "Strategic Sustainability Management", where she is also a member of the Advisory Board. She teaches in the modules "Orientation, Positioning, Perspective Development and Ethical Reflection" and "Reflection: Sustainability as a Process". Further teaching experience includes the Duke in Berlin programme.

During her time as a research associate, she coordinated the European Affairs research area. In this function she led and worked on projects on the following topics, among others: Governance of European environmental policy, impact assessment and evaluation, sustainable development, social transformation and behavioural approaches in environmental policy and sustainable development. Her particular interest lay in a process-related approach to the projects. Anneke Klasing also coordinated the activities of Ecologic Institute in the field of social-ecological research (SÖF) funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and in advising the Environment Committee of the European Parliament (EP).

Anneke Klasing began her studies in political science, law and geography at the Rheinische Friedrich-Willhelms-Universität in Bonn in 1995 and graduated in political science at the Freie Universität Berlin in 2000. Sent to the Institute for European Environmental Policy (IEEP) in London in 2001, she returned to Ecologic Institute in 2002.

Anneke Klasing also completed training in Gestalt psychotherapy and works as a freelance coach.
