Agriculture, Trade and Biodiversity

Project
Duration
-

This study examines the policy issues and discussions surrounding the intersection between trade liberalisation, agriculture, and biodiversity conservation.

It makes recommendations on case studies which the IUCN might wish to undertake to link practice to policy and to further develop the knowledge base in respect of how these three areas interact. The report surveys the current policy instruments, agenda, actors and literature relating to the linkage between agriculture, trade and biodiversity, with a focus on Europe.
