In total, accompanying investigations are entered in the Atlas Fish Protection & Downstream Fish at 111 of 142 sites. The most frequent accompanying investigation is the functional control (80), followed by monitoring (76).

The accompanying investigations can be specified in the atlas with regard to the investigation aspects. The aspects fish protection, fish descent, behavioral biology, migration behavior, damage rate and hydraulic-technical investigation are available as filter criteria (multiple entries possible). The most frequent aspects of the accompanying investigations entered in the atlas were fish (66) and fish protection (64) followed by the damage rate (49). The infographic is part of a fact sheet on fish protection and downstream fish migration measures.
