Morazan, Pedro and Christiane Gerstetter 2011: Increasing the Impact of EU Development Policy. Brussels: European Parliament.

In December 2010, the EU Commission published a Green Book on the future of EU development policy, entitled "EU development policy in support of inclusive growth and sustainable development – Increasing the impact of EU development policy." Christiane Gerstetter and Benjamin Görlach of Ecologic Institute responded to a question from the European Parliament on the relationship between climate change, biodiversity and development. The brief is available for download.

The briefing Increasing the Impact of EU Development Policy conducted by Südwind Institut and Ecologic Institute, is a contribution to the recently launched consultation process on the Green Paper "EU Development Policy in Support of Inclusive Growth and Sustainable Development - Increasing the Impact of EU Development Policy" COM(2010) 629 final). It provides evidencebased answers to selected questions raised in the Green Paper.

The brief is part of the framework contract on development policy with the European Parliament that Ecologic Institute coordinates. The brief [pdf, 725 KB, English] is available for download.
