Elisa von Carlowitz works as a Research Assistant for Ecologic Institute, where she supports the Biodiversity Team. Her research focuses on ecosystem restoration. She is fluent in German, English, and Spanish and has basic knowledge of Italian and French.
At Ecologic Institute, Elisa von Carlowitz contributes to the project Climate Resilience of Ecosystems, coissioned by the German Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (BfN). She is also involved in the project Supporting the National Implementation of Nature Restoration Targets, where she assists the team in planning and implementing the national restoration plans for Germany (BfN).
Before joining Ecologic Institute, Elisa von Carlowitz gained experience in practical agriculture and nature conservation projects in Germany and Spain. She also worked as an intern and working student in the Agri-PV industry.
Elisa is studying Integrated Natural Resource Management at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin and is currently funded by the German National Academic Foundation.
