Maya Yavor is a Fellow at Ecologic Institute in Berlin, where she contributes to research projects on sustainable resource use, resource policy and circularity. She is a native German speaker and is fluent in English.
Before joining Ecologic Institute, Maya worked as a Research Associate at the Chair of Sustainable Engineering at TU Berlin. Her research focused on abiotic resources, criticality assessment and methodological development, with a particular emphasis on integrating temporal aspects into the assessment of abiotic resources. She previously worked as a Research Assistant at the Chair of Economic and Infrastructure Policy at TU Berlin and gained practical experience through internships at Siemens Healthcare, Telekom Technik and in Spain.
Alongside her work at Ecologic Institute, Maya is completing her PhD at TU Berlin. She previously studied Industrial Engineering at TU Berlin (BSc and MSc) and spent a semester abroad at École Centrale Paris.
