R. Andreas Kraemer of Ecologic Institute was invited to join the "VROM International Affairs Think Tank" advising the Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment (VROM). The group of high-level experts meets twice a year to discuss issues of strategic importance on the international agenda and to formulate advice to the Ministry.

The Think Tank helps the Ministry to prepare innovative international initiatives on topics of national priority. It is a modern response to challenges of contemporary European society where the supranational level is gaining importance and networks a playing a more important role compared to more traditional hierarchical decision-making processes.

The Think Tank was established in June 2006, and R. Andreas Kraemer joined in April 2009.
