RISE UP for the Ocean is a global network linking grassroots movements with decision-making spaces, with a mission to unite and amplify civil society and community voices to influence global ocean policy and decision-making. In its work, RISE UP builds on the Blue Call to Action launched in 2019, which sets out agreed priorities, objectives and targets – not based on what is politically convenient, but on what the ocean truly needs to recover.
