  1. Energy and Environmental Governance in the Arctic – Publication

    The text book on "Regions and Regionalism in the International Relations" offers a theoretical and conceptual overview as well as comparative insights into a range of regional regulatory models, norms and institutions in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas. In a new publication, Arne Riedel, Fellow at Ecologic Institute, outlines the actors and cooperative efforts in the Arctic region and discusses actual regulatory developments, new actors as well as new political challenges.

  2. Different Types of Guidance Found on Food and Drink Products – REFRESH Consumer Survey

    For a period of three weeks in July 2017, the European research project REFRESH invites responses to a consumer survey. The aim is to look at different formats of guidance found on food and drink products and the effects that they have on consumer behavior. The survey on food and drink products takes only ten minutes. The survey is focused on the four REFRESH pilot countries: The Netherlands, Germany, Spain and Hungary.

  3. Business Makes Climate Protection – Kick-off Conference of the Dialogue Forum

    On 30 June 2017, the Federal Environment Minister Dr. Barbara Hendricks kicked off the Dialogue Forum "Wirtschaft macht Klimaschutz" ("Business Makes Climate Protection"). More than 130 participants from companies from all economic sectors met to discuss the development of joint strategies and practical implementation measures for enabling climate protection. The Federal Environment Minister's speech, as well as presentations and photos from the conference are available online.

  4. Current Challenges in Climate and Energy Policy – Panel Discussion

    The US withdrawal from the Paris Agreement, the upcoming climate negotiations and global trends in the energy sector – these topics were discussed by Nicole Wilke, Head of the German delegation to the UN climate negotiations; Dr. Camilla Bausch of Ecologic Institute and Susanne Dröge, Senior Fellow at the SWP during a panel discussion on "Current Challenges in Climate and Energy Policy" at the Foreign Office in Berlin.

  5. Multi-level Governance of Energy Efficiency – multEE Final Conference

    On 29 June 2017 Ecologic Institute, together with the multEE consortium and the Energy Community Secretariat, held their final conference at the Sofitel in Vienna. The event served as an interactive forum for exchange and joint learning. A lively participatory approach was adopted to summarize and review all of the project's achievements and impacts to date, while paving the way for future cooperation. The presentation slides are available for download.

  6. Discussing Artistic Interventions at the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region Annual Forum – Panel Discussion

    How can culture contribute to change? How can and should it contribute to achieving environmental sustainability? Dr. Camilla Bausch was invited to reflect on such questions in the context of the 8th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR) at the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin.

      As an IT-Support / User Help Desk Employee you will be the primary contact person for IT-related support requests at our institute and coordinate the work of two IT-Support trainees.
