Dr. Stephan Sina, Senior Fellow of Ecologic Institute, gave a keynote speech at the China-EU Conference on Climate Change Legislation on 29 June 2021. He presented the main features of the Climate Change Act (KSG) and its latest amendments based on the decision of the Federal Constitutional Court on 24 March 2021. He also participated in the discussion session after the presentations.

The Beijing conference was co-hosted by the National Center for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation (NCSC) and Client Earth, and supported by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). Over 100 representatives and experts participated on-site or via video, including from the Department of Climate Change of the Chinese Ministry of Ecology and Environment, DG CLIMA, the UK Climate Change Committee, and various embassies and universities.
