
Anthony Cox is a Senior Policy Advisor at Ecologic Institute. From 2000 to 2021, Anthony led research and analysis on environmental policy issues in the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). He focused on bringing an economic lens to multilateral and national challenges ranging from climate, water, fisheries, ocean and biodiversity to subsidies, economic instruments and the political economy of reform. Anthony was responsible for major multi-disciplinary projects such as "Investing in Climate", "Investing in Growth" and "Financing Climate Futures". From 2013 to 2021, Anthony was Deputy Environment Director and also led the OECD delegations to the G7 and G20 on climate, energy and environment.
Prior to joining the OECD, Anthony was a Senior Economist in various areas of the Australian Government.
