The time to meet the next target to halt the loss of biodiversity in the EU by 2020 is approaching. The authors of this study identified and assessed key drivers of success for measure driven improvements that could be used to develop more successful conservation measures in the future in order to achieve a better conservation status of species and habitats. This will consequently contribute to the development of the post 2020 biodiversity strategy. The study is available for download.

An international workshop titled "Act Now - Antibiotics and Antibiotic Resistance in the Environment" was held in Brussels (Belgium). The over 50 participants included representatives from the EU Parliament, national regulatory agencies, the pharmaceutical industry, the water industry, and NGOs, amongst others. This report presents key points of the plenary presentations, summarises the main points of the first podium discussion, and provides an overview of the discussions in the three World Café tables. In the winter term 2018/2019 Doris Knoblauch, Senior Fellow at Ecologic Institute, organized the seminar "Think Tank Policy Consulting" at the Otto Suhr Institute (OSI) of the Free University Berlin. It was the first time that this seminar was held by an Ecologic Institute researcher at the OSI. Similar courses have been taught before at the Bremen University of Applied Sciences.

The third set of dialogue workshops for government officials and experts from the "Climate Recon 2050" project were held in Copenhagen at the end of February 2019. The project team have been organizing two main fora for that workshop: a Technical Dialogue, for modellers and other experts designing 2050 climate policy scenarios – and a Policy-Maker Platform, to create a space for experience sharing among representatives from different EU countries.
