Join us for a deep dive into the policy and private initiative landscape shaping the transition to a nature-positive economy in the upcoming webinar "Mapping policies and private sector initiatives for a nature-positive economy: Insights from the GoNP! Project". Organised by Ecologic Institute with the support of Oxford University, ICLEI Europe and Trinity College Dublin under the Horizon Europe project GoNaturePositive!, the online event will present the project's first key findings and products on 26 June 2025 from 11-12:00 CET. Ecologic Institute's Benjamin Kupilas will present the results of an extensive mapping exercise assessing the alignment of EU and global policy instruments as well as co-operative instruments with nature positive principles, and McKenna Davis will moderate the event.
GoNaturePositive! is an EU-funded research initiative that explores how public policies and private-sector initiatives can drive systemic change across Europe’s agriculture, blue economy, forestry, built environment, and tourism sectors. In joining the webinar, you can look forward to:
- An introduction to the GoNaturePositive! project and the nature-positive economy concept
- An overview of key gaps and leverage points in current EU policy and co-operative initiative landscapes
- Interactive Q&A sessions with the presenters
- An outlook on the next steps in the project and opportunities for engagement
This event is relevant for policymakers, business leaders, researchers, and all parties interested in accelerating Europe's transition toward a regenerative, equitable, and resilient economy that puts nature at its core.
