As part of the REFRESH Food Waste 2017 Conference the Food Waste Innovation Incubator Day took place on 19 May 2017. The workshop brought together food waste stakeholders such as entrepreneurs, companies of the food industry and policy makers.

The Incubator Day was co-hosted with the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) and their initiative "Too good for the bin!". The event was carried out in collaboration with the Food Surplus Entrepreneurs Network. During the workshop the participants had the opportunity to learn from each other, develop solutions to food waste issues in the food chain, and improve cooperation. Minutes, presentations, and the programme can be downloaded on the REFRESH website.
