The Role of Financial Institutions in Achieving Sustainable Development

In diesem Bericht wurde die Rolle von europäischen Finanzinstitutionen für eine nachhaltige Entwicklung analysiert. Es wurde untersucht, wie der Finanzsektor zu nachhaltiger Entwicklung beitragen kann und welche Möglichkeiten für diese Institutionen hinsichtlich eines positiveren und aktiveren Umweltverhaltens bestehen. Ecologic führte dafür u. a. Interviews mit Vertretern des Finanzsektors, der Industrie, NGOs und Regierungsorganisationen der EU und außerhalb durch.
