Dicke, Flora; Tröltzsch, Jenny; Schritt, Hannes; 2025: Sozio-ökonomische Analyse Blau-Grüner Infrastrukturmaßnahmen zur Regenwasserbewirtschaftung. Poster, Berlin: Ecologic Institut.

This poster showcased key findings from AMAREX, a project that assessed blue-green infrastructure solutions to support the adaptation of urban rainwater management to extreme weather events. Central to the poster are socio-economic assessments of blue-green infrastructure measures, focusing on stormwater infiltration, retention, and drought resilience.

The poster provides insight into three elements of the AMAREX project:

  • The structuring of the catalogue of 21 decentralised rainwater management measures, including infiltration swales, optimised tree pits, and green and retention roofs, each described through functionality, design parameters, and effects on water balance.
  • A multicriteria analysis comparing measures across environmental, social, technical, and economic criteria. As shown in the diagrams on the poster, solutions with green elements such as swales and green roofs scored highest overall, one key factor being their additional environmental and recreational benefits.
  • A cost-benefit analysis, including monetisation approaches for non-market ecosystem services and exemplary results for a choice of decentralised rainwater management measures.
