Event Overview
In the first part of the event, participants will discuss the potential of new crops for Brandenburg together with stakeholders from farming, processing, and marketing. The focus will be on suitable cultivation systems, processing opportunities, and market pathways for innovative organic products.
Building on these discussions, practical case studies will provide insights into current developments surrounding speciality and niche crops as well as innovative approaches to product development. Concrete examples will illustrate opportunities and challenges along the value chain.
The Market Information Talks offer space for exchange and networking among stakeholders from cultivation, processing, trade, and product development. Together, participants will explore perspectives for strengthening regional organic value chains in Brandenburg. The event is organised by the Ecologic Institute on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Systems, Environment and Consumer Protection as part of the Brandenburg Organic Action Plan.
