The Agricultural Produce Exchange for Public Catering is dedicated to these questions. Farmers, food processors, and wholesalers are brought together with caterers, canteens, and kitchens from Brandenburg and Berlin to match their supply and demand for regional organic produce and establish new partnerships.

About the Agenda of the Event

The afternoon begins with insights into regional procurement and the organic market for communal catering. The focus will be on experiences with regional products in canteens, an update on the distribution of RYCE – rye rice from Brandenburg, as well as current market developments and the potential of organic produce in out-of-home catering.

In the subsequent Agricultural Produce Exchange, participants will have the opportunity to connect with other producers, processors, aggregators, and kitchens to exchange information about their supply offers and requests and come together for new supply relationships. For this purpose, participants bring specific quantity figures of the regional produce they can offer or wish to purchase at a specific time – with the aim of finding a matching offer or demand and agreeing on purchases.

The market information session ends with a shared dinner and drinks.
