How can producer associations and cooperatives strengthen regional organic value chains? Which models help to pool volumes, access markets, and develop new value chains? And what does it actually take to successfully establish a producer association?

The fourth Market Information Forum 2026 is dedicated to successful cooperatives, producer associations, and marketing models in Brandenburg. The focus will be on collective marketing, aggregation of production volumes, and regional sales structures. In addition, practical questions concerning the establishment and organisation of producer associations will be discussed.

Programme

  • Practical examples of successful producer associations
  • Establishment and organisation of producer associations in practice
  • Exchange on legal structures, financing, and cooperation models
  • Discussions on the opportunities of regional value creation

Time and Venue

Date: 9 September 2026
Time: 12:00–17:30

Practitioners will share their experiences with collective marketing and regional cooperation models. The event will also address practical questions related to the establishment and further development of producer associations such as:

  • What prerequisites are necessary?
  • Which success factors contribute to long-term, sustainable cooperation?

Participants will have the opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss strategies for strengthening regional organic value chains.

Together, producers can achieve more: cooperation and producer associations create the foundation for stronger markets, greater regional value creation, and sustainable growth.
