The third Market Information Talk 2026 focuses on logistics structures for organic products in Brandenburg. The event will highlight existing initiatives, cooperative models, and practical examples from regional value chains. Together, participants will develop a current picture of the logistics landscape: What is already working well? What lessons have been learned? And where is further action needed?

Event Overview
The event will focus on how regionally produced organic products can be transported efficiently and reliably from farms to retail outlets and public catering services, and on the practical logistics solutions that already exist. Participants will also discuss where existing logistics structures need further development and which approaches from different regions could be adapted and transferred elsewhere.
Two practical approaches to regional organic logistics will be presented by Anja Sylvester (SyMoLoG consulting) and Bernd Uwe Kleist (Meck-Schweizer Logistik). These presentations will be complemented by perspectives from Brandenburg's organic model regions, with contributions from Henrik Stamer (Organic Model Region Prignitz-Ruppin) and Rahel Volz (BioRegion Havelland). In addition, Thomas Marbach (Kochanstalt and Hybrid Food Hub Leipzig) will present a practical example of a hybrid food hub, demonstrating how regional aggregation and logistics can be organised effectively in practice.
The event is organised by Ecologic Institute on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Systems, Environment and Consumer Protection of the State of Brandenburg as part of the Brandenburg Organic Action Plan (Ökoaktionsplan Brandenburg).
